"50 Cent Ready to Stake Millions on A$AP Rocky’s Freedom as Verdict Looms"

"50 Cent Backs A$AP Rocky, Bets $500K on His Innocence"

50 Cent is putting his money where his mouth is when it comes to A$AP Rocky’s ongoing shooting trial. The rap mogul is so confident that Rocky will walk free that he’s willing to bet half a million dollars on the verdict going in his favor.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, 50 made his stance clear, saying, “I got A$AP beating this case. I’ll bet $500,000 on it.” He didn’t stop there—he also took a swipe at A$AP Relli, the former A$AP Mob member accusing Rocky of shooting him. According to Fif, Relli’s claims are nothing more than an attempt to cash in. “That boy A$AP Tellie was just trying to get some money,” he wrote, referencing the $30 million lawsuit Relli filed against Rocky over the alleged 2021 incident.

50 also mocked Relli’s account of the shooting, particularly his claim that he returned to the scene to pick up shell casings. “Fool said, ‘I was scared for my life, so I went back to the scene and picked up these shells.’ Officer told him, ‘Hey, if you want some money, go to the hospital.’ Who want the bet?”

The post was accompanied by footage of a tense courtroom exchange between Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, and the prosecutor, John Lewin. During closing arguments, Tacopina made a comment that clearly struck a nerve, prompting Lewin to fire back: “Your Honor, one more thing out of him and we air out everything that’s happened in this case! He might want to stop!” Tacopina, unfazed, shot back: “Ooh, I’m so threatened by you.” Lewin warned, “You should be.” The exchange got so heated that Judge Mark Arnold had to step in and put a stop to it.

The jury is expected to deliver a verdict this week on whether A$AP Rocky actually shot and injured Relli during a heated argument in Hollywood back in November 2021. Rocky’s defense argues that he never fired a real gun, only a prop, and that Relli is simply trying to extort him for a payday. If convicted, the rapper faces up to 24 years in prison on two counts of assault with a semiautomatic weapon.

50 Cent has been vocal in his support for Rocky throughout the trial, repeatedly calling for the charges to be dropped. Earlier this month, he even exposed Relli’s own legal troubles—specifically, two outstanding warrants in New Jersey dating back to 2010. In another scathing Instagram post, he called Relli’s credibility into question, writing: “Now what’s the chances of that? On the stand, on the run. Yeah, throw this whole case away. This guy is just trying to get some money, that’s all.”

Fif also highlighted a key inconsistency in Relli’s testimony—he claimed to have found bullet casings at the scene, yet it later came out that he had visited a Los Angeles gun range just before the incident.

With the trial nearing its conclusion, all eyes are now on the jury’s decision. Will 50 Cent’s bold $500,000 bet pay off, or is A$AP Rocky in serious trouble?
