Teebillz Apologizes to Toke Makinwa, Speaks on Tiwa Savage and 2Baba’s Divorce Drama
Things got heated recently between media personality Toke Makinwa and music executive Teebillz, but now, Teebillz is setting the record straight and offering an apology.
It all started when Toke Makinwa criticized 2Baba for publicly announcing his separation from Annie Idibia while she was in rehab. Teebillz, who wasn’t happy with her comments, called her out, questioning her involvement in Annie’s life. However, after some reflection, he has now apologized.
Speaking during a live session with Daddy Freeze, Teebillz admitted that he reacted emotionally and that his message was misunderstood.
Teebillz Clears the Air
During the session, he said:
"I would like to publicly apologize to Toke. I think my message was misunderstood because, at the end of the day, we are all family. This feminist thing is getting out of hand, but I realize I may have reacted too quickly."
Teebillz explained that he was triggered by Toke’s strong words about 2Baba’s separation, arguing that no one should judge how people handle personal struggles.
"Where was she all this while in Annie’s life? These reality shows just prey on people’s flaws for content. Nobody is perfect. Instead of judging, I prayed for 2Baba and Annie because who knows? They might even reconcile tomorrow."
Speaks on His Own Marriage with Tiwa Savage
Bringing his own experience into the conversation, Teebillz opened up about his past marriage with Tiwa Savage, saying that the entertainment industry played a big role in their struggles.
"When it comes to family feuds, no one truly wins. I gave everything to Tiwa Savage, but the industry complicated things. Still, I will always respect her as the mother of my child."
He also praised Tiwa for doing a great job raising their child:
"People thought I was crazy for always defending Tiwa, but when I see my child thriving, I know it’s because of her, and I give her credit for that."
Final Thoughts
Teebillz’s apology shows that emotions were running high, but he’s now choosing to take a step back and see the bigger picture. He believes that judging others during tough times helps no one, and in the end, family is all that matters.
