Lil Tjay Banned from Madison Square Garden After Spitting Incident
Lil Tjay just got hit with a lifetime ban from Madison Square Garden after a heated run-in with security during a boxing match.
According to TMZ, the Bronx rapper is no longer welcome at MSG after security accused him of trying to get ringside without proper credentials at the Keyshawn Davis vs. Denys Berinchyk fight on February 14. Things quickly escalated into a scuffle, and footage later surfaced showing Tjay spitting at a security guard as he was being escorted out.
A rep for the venue confirmed the ban, saying, “Our policy is that patrons who engage in confrontational and disruptive behavior will be escorted out and banned from all MSG properties.”
Despite the drama, Tjay still walked away with a win—he placed a $15,000 bet on Davis knocking out Berinchyk within six rounds and cashed in a whopping $105,000 when it happened in the third.
This isn’t the first time the rapper has found himself in controversy. He was arrested at Miami-Opa Locka airport last April due to a missed court date from 2021 and was previously shot multiple times in New Jersey in 2022.
Through it all, Tjay has remained resilient, even thanking fans for their support after his near-fatal shooting. However, it looks like MSG won’t be showing him any love anytime soon.
