"Olamide Only Helped Me Small – Portable Spills the Truth!"

Portable Opens Up on Rift with Olamide: "He Could Have Done More for Me"

Controversial street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has finally shed light on his strained relationship with Nigerian rap icon Olamide.

Speaking in a recent interview on EchoRoom, the Zazu crooner expressed his belief that Olamide could have done more to support his career rather than just featuring on the remix of his breakout 2021 hit, Zazu. According to Portable, while he remains grateful for Olamide’s contribution, he feels abandoned, especially when compared to the support he received from British rapper Skepta.

“I can’t drag Skepta because he held my hand,” Portable stated. “Olamide didn’t hold my hand. He just gave me a verse on Zazu and left me without a management. He can’t sign me now because I’m already a global superstar.”

The singer also previously accused Olamide of "snatching" his producer, dancer, and promoter—claims that the YBNL boss has yet to respond to.

Despite the tension, Portable continues to thrive in the industry, making headlines with his controversial statements and relentless work ethic. Whether this rift will be resolved remains to be seen, but one thing is clear—Portable is determined to carve his own path, with or without Olamide’s help.
