Kendrick Lamar is making history yet again, dominating both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200 charts in a way few artists ever have.
Following his electrifying Super Bowl performance, K.Dot’s explosive Drake diss track, “Not Like Us,” has reclaimed the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 for a third non-consecutive week. This makes it the only non-holiday song to reach No. 1 three separate times with months-long breaks in between—joining the ranks of Chubby Checker’s “The Twist” and Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
But that’s not all. Over on the Billboard 200, Kendrick has become the first rapper ever to have three albums in the Top 10 at the same time. His latest release, GNX, has returned to No. 1, while 2017’s DAMN sits at No. 9 and his 2012 classic, good kid, m.A.A.d city, lands at No. 10. The last living male artist to achieve this feat was Herb Alpert in 1966—putting Kendrick in truly elite company.
In total, GNX moved 236,000 units this week, with DAMN pulling in 39,000 and good kid, m.A.A.d city adding another 37,000.
The moment is so massive that even Saturday Night Live got in on the action. During its 50th-anniversary special, Will Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer brought back their iconic Culp family music teachers sketch—this time, covering “Not Like Us.”
From chart milestones to pop culture moments, Kendrick Lamar is proving once again that he’s in a league of his own.
