Drake isn’t letting go of his grudge against DeMar DeRozan anytime soon.
During his Anita Max Win tour stop in Sydney on Sunday night (February 16), a fan tossed a jersey on stage. Drake picked it up, but the moment he realized it was a DeRozan jersey, he punted it straight back into the crowd. His disgusted expression said it all.

Drake and DeRozan were once close, with the rapper being a longtime supporter of the NBA star during his years with the Toronto Raptors. But everything changed last June when DeRozan appeared in Kendrick Lamar’s "Not Like Us" video and even joined him on stage at the Pop Out concert. That moment created an obvious rift between the two.
DeRozan later addressed his loyalty to Kendrick in an interview with The Breakfast Club, making it clear that Compton—his hometown—comes first.
"At the end of the day, I’m from Compton. My city, where I’m from, where I was born, where my family still lives, that comes first before anything," he said. "It’s so crazy because my second home became Toronto, which has one of the greatest [rappers] of all time coming from there too."
Drake, however, didn’t let it slide. In November, when DeRozan made his first return to Canada after aligning with Kendrick, Drizzy had something to say. Sitting courtside at the Raptors vs. Kings game, he locked eyes with DeRozan and later sent a direct warning during an interview.
"If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself," Drake told TSN. "Unfortunately, we’re playing this goof tonight, but it is what it is."
DeRozan didn’t back down, responding with a smirk: "He’s gonna have a long way to climb, I’ll tell you that."
Later, he trolled Drake even further by posting a clip from Friday featuring Chris Tucker’s character, Smokey, acting tough—only when Deebo isn’t around.
Seems like this tension isn’t cooling off anytime soon.
