Megan Thee Stallion is turning 30 in style—by launching her very own tequila brand!
The Houston rap star just introduced Chicas Divertidas, a tequila line that reflects her love for good vibes and great memories. The brand kicks off with two options: Blanco ($70) and Reposado ($80), produced by the Mexican distillery Casa Centila. Pre-orders are already live on the official website.
“As someone who values good vibes and great memories, I knew I wanted to create a tequila that was designed to be shared and savored with my Hotties,” Megan said in a statement. “This process has been years in the making, and I’m so proud to take this next step as an entrepreneur. I know the Hotties are ready—it’s time to give them a drink made by me!”
Speaking with Forbes, she explained why tequila was her drink of choice: “At every party, everybody’s go-to drink is tequila. It’s a universal happy drink, and I’ve always loved a good reposado. So I thought, I need to be the one bringing the vibe to parties—with gifts. That’s how I came up with Chicas.”
Megan made it clear that this isn’t just another celebrity endorsement. “I’m not a brand ambassador for a liquor. I’m not just putting my face on someone else’s brand. This is my tequila,” she emphasized. “I took my time crafting the liquid and the bottle. Everything about this represents me. It’s my business; it’s my company. And that sets me apart.”
While Megan celebrates her tequila launch, she’s also dealing with a legal battle. Photographer Emilio Garcia, who sued her in 2024, recently amended his lawsuit, adding new allegations. He now claims he was misclassified as an independent contractor and accuses Megan of misconduct, including allegedly throwing a TV remote at his head in 2022. He also references lyrics from her 2024 album Megan: Act II as proof of past incidents.
Megan’s legal team fired back, calling Garcia a “con artist” who is “manipulating the judicial system to act as his publicist.” They maintain this is nothing more than a money grab.
Despite the drama, Megan is focused on growing her empire—and with Chicas Divertidas, she’s proving once again that she’s more than just a rap superstar.
