WAHALA!!! ‘You Are Big For Nothing’ – Portable Blasts Saheed Osupa Over Copyright Drama

Portable Blasts Saheed Osupa Over Copyright Claim, Calls Him “Big for Nothing”

Portable is back in the headlines, and this time, he’s taking shots at Fuji legend Saheed Osupa. The controversial street-hop artist is furious after Osupa allegedly reported his song for copyright infringement, leading to its removal from streaming platforms.

The drama started when Portable borrowed a line from one of Osupa’s songs in his latest track. Shortly after, complaints from the Fuji musician and his team resulted in the song being pulled from Apple Music and Spotify. But rather than taking the situation lightly, Portable went on a heated rant, accusing Osupa of not supporting his career and comparing him unfavorably to Fuji star Pasuma.

In a viral video, Portable didn’t mince words, calling Osupa “big for nothing” and claiming that the Fuji star should have embraced him instead of taking legal action. He expressed disappointment that Osupa would go to such lengths, stating that Pasuma, despite a similar situation, never took legal action against him.

“Saheed Osupa, you are big for nothing. If you can’t embrace me, I will drag you. You sing Fuji while I sing hip-hop. The same way I used a line from your music is the same way I removed three verses from Pasuma. But Pasuma never reported my song. Keep your distance if you can’t embrace me like the way Pasuma adopted me like his own child,” Portable said in the video.

The rant has since sparked mixed reactions among fans, with some supporting Portable and others arguing that Osupa has every right to protect his intellectual property. While some believe Osupa should have handled the situation differently, others insist that Portable should have sought permission before using lyrics from another artist’s work.

So far, Osupa has not publicly responded to the accusations, but this feud has once again highlighted the growing tension between Nigeria’s older and younger musicians over issues of respect and copyright.

As the drama unfolds, many are wondering whether this will escalate further or if the two artists will find common ground. Will Osupa address Portable’s claims, or will he let his actions speak for themselves? And will Portable learn a lesson about intellectual property rights from this controversy?

For now, fans are keeping a close watch to see what happens next in yet another chapter of Portable’s never-ending drama.
